|The Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum
and the Rotary Club of Snow Hill, MD co-sponsor the fifth IRON FURNACE FIFTY, an annual Fifty Mile Fun Ride (with 50 K and 100 K alternatives), on May 9, 2015.
Starting and ending at Furnace
Town Living Heritage Village, located between Snow
Hill and Salisbury, the IRON FURNACE FIFTY bike
ride passes through the most pristine and
beautiful countryside on the Eastern Shore. The
routes are perfect for bicycling. They’re fast and
flat. A perfect start for the 2015 bicycle season.
.Registration is $40 per adult prior to 4/15/2015
and $45 after. Youth under 18(with id)
registration fee is $30 prior to 4/15/2015 and $35
after. Each participant receives a 2015 IFF
T-Shirt. (Guaranteed if registration is by
4/15/2015). Ride includes Route Map with turn by
turn, well-marked road paint, a specific Rider
Number, SAG vehicle patrol, Free Admission to
Furnace Town where a free Luncheon with
entertainment and complimentary beverages (beer!
for adults) will be provided at the end of the
ride! There are rest stops (including ice cream at
Chesapeake Farms Dairy) along the Route with
water, fruit, snacks and Johns. Refund date:
ONLINE REGISTRATION is open! We will accept Walk-in Registrations the day of the event, beginning at 7:00 AM, so you can still bring a co-worker, friend, family or neighbor and they can register at the event.
All profit from the Ride will go to Education Programs at Furnace Town, and College Scholarships awarded by Snow Hill Rotary.
