50 Mile

Why Ride?

Not only is the Iron Furnace Fifty a fun ride for the family, all proceeds benefit Furnace Town Living Heritage Village and Rotary Club of Snow Hill. It's a great way to have fun while supporting two local nonprofit organizations that are doing good in our community.

furnace town Living Heritage Village

Furnace Town Living Heritage Village is dedicated to preserving the historic Nassawango Iron Furnace and engaging the public in the culture of our shared past. Throughout the year, the museum features artisans in period dress demonstrating crafts and trades that were practiced in Furnace Town and the Lower Eastern Shore during the nineteenth century. Every year, Furnace Town hosts more than 10,000 visitors, 3,000 of which are school children.

Rotary club of snow hill

Rotary Club of Snow Hill is a local affiliate of Rotary International and we work to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio. Rotary Club members are volunteers who work locally under the motto Service Above Self.
